2. The NY Jets could sign OG/C Graham Glasgow

  • Contract Projection: 2 years, $13 million ($6.5 million guaranteed)

The Jets will likely need to add multiple interior offensive linemen in free agency this offseason, and it seems probable that one of those veteran additions will be a low-cost option. Perhaps the best player in that tier is Graham Glasgow.

Glasgow has been a target of the Jets in the past and is coming off a pretty solid season with the Detroit Lions in 2023. The 31-year-old played all three interior offensive line spots, starting 15 games and finishing with a PFF grade of 74.9, which ranked eighth among 79 qualified guards.

While Glasgow has experience playing all three interior positions, he's consistently been at his best when playing guard. That's likely where he would slot in as a starter for the Jets.

Glasgow isn't the high-profile, swing-for-the-fences signing Jets fans will be hoping for, but he's a quality starting-caliber offensive lineman who should be available for cheap.

1. The NY Jets could sign WR Kendrick Bourne

  • Contract Projection: 2 years, $14 million ($8.5 million guaranteed)

This is my dream budget signing for the Jets. Kendrick Bourne may be the most "expensive" player on this list, but with an average AAV projection of just $7 million, he still qualifies as a low-cost target.

Bourne is the epitome of consistency and reliability. The former undrafted free agent is an excellent route runner with ultra-reliable hands who also doubles as a great run-blocker.

He's not an explosive athlete, and he'll never pass for anyone's WR1, but that doesn't take away from what he brings to the table. Bourne is everything the Jets should be looking for in a wide receiver.

While Bourne doesn't necessarily significantly raise the ceiling of the Jets' wide receiver room, he does raise the floor of the position group by a large margin. This would be a fantastic signing for the Jets.
