2. The NY Jets will face the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 and 11

The Jets, after years and years of struggles in an AFC East dominated by one team, now find themselves in a division stacked full of great talent, and there's no team more well-rounded in the division than the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills.

With a dual-threat quarterback and one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, the Bills have been putting up points for quite some time now, but in 2022, the Jets showed that this team can be stopped, even with a struggling offense of their own that failed to score many points.

Replicating that success is a lot easier said than done, however, but with an improved pass rush and all of their top stars from a year ago returning, there's no reason why the Jets can't make a statement here.

1. The NY Jets will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4

The toughest team the Jets will face in 2023 is the reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Even without Tyreek Hill, they proved that they can be just as good, if not better, on the offensive side of the ball.

With Travis Kelce, Kadarius Toney, Skyy Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and a very deep running back room led by Isaiah Pacheco, this is a team that proved everyone wrong in 2022, and after building chemistry with the MVP, they could hit another gear in 2023.

After a breakout year for Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed in 2022, this will no doubt be their stiffest test of the year, but if Quinnen Williams and the big bodies up front can put pressure on Patrick Mahomes, there's no reason why the Jets can't step up and win this game.
