The NY Jets' 2022 season gave fans plenty of optimism and hope for the future, and after landing four-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the offseason, the schedule has now been released, with fans confident the team can take on any opponent in the entire NFL.

With six primetime games, a tough conference, and an even tougher division, the Jets will be up against the stiffest competition all season long. But with the quarterback they need now officially leading them, the Jets have their best chance yet at breaking a record 12-year playoff drought.

Looking ahead to the tough 17-game slate on hand for the Jets in 2023, they've got plenty of competition, but which are the toughest quarterbacks this team will face this season?

5. The NY Jets will face Deshaun Watson in Week 17

Despite being out of the game for over 18 months due to injuries and legal issues, Deshaun Watson showed flashes of a once elite quarterback when he returned in 2022, and with a familiar addition in the form of Elijah Moore, this is an offense that could take off in 2023.

Sure, looking at his year last year, it was clear there was plenty of rust, but this is someone that had a passer rating of 112.4 in his last full year in the NFL. If the Jets aren't careful, he could dice them up in Week 17 if he can stay healthy throughout the year.

2022 stats (six games): 1,102 passing yards on 58.2 completion percentage with seven touchdowns to five interceptions and a 79.1 passer rating. He also added 170 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
