4. The NY Jets will face the Buffalo Bills defense in Week 1 and 11

Not only do the Jets open up their 2023 season against one of the best offensive units in the NFL, but they will also be up against an elite defense, highlighted by one of the most outstanding duos in the entire league.

That would be the incomparable safety duo of Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde, and pairing them with a pass rush of Ed Oliver, Von Miller, and Tre'Davious White at the cornerback spot, this is a unit with elite players at every position.

Given that the NY Jets will meet Buffalo twice this season, they will need to at least split those games if they are any hope of taking out the AFC East crown, so they'll need to gel quickly with the arrival of a four-time MVP quarterback.

3. The NY Jets will face the Cleveland Browns defense in Week 17

The Cleveland Browns' defense has been their saving grace for the past few years now, and with the recent addition of Za'Darius Smith to a team that already had Myles Garrett, this becomes a scary unit.

Between those two alone, there were 26 sacks in 2022, and late in the season, this could be a critical game to the Jets' playoff hopes, so they will be praying that the line has better luck with health in 2023 than they did in 2022.

On top of that, the secondary is littered with talent, highlighted by Denzel Ward and Grant Delpit, and if the Jets' offensive line isn't at its best in this one, the Browns could cause havoc for Aaron Rodgers and the offense.
