The NY Jets' defense was one of the best in the entire NFL last year, led by an All-Pro season from Quinnen Williams and the incredible cornerback duo of D.J. Reed and Sauce Gardner. Now that the offense might finally be catching up, there's plenty of pressure on that unit to perform again.

Both units are capable of holding their own, but with the way the NFL is growing and developing, offenses are just getting better and better, and with a tough schedule on the way in 2023, the Jets are up against some of the best in the entire NFL.

Many fans will look to the 2023 schedule and circle different games for different reasons, but today, we are going to run through it and analyze the five toughest offensive units the Jets will be facing this season.

5. The NY Jets will face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2

While the Dallas Cowboys have failed to make any deep post-season runs in recent years, they've built a fantastic offense led by Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Brandin Cooks. And with an incredible offensive line, it won't be an easy matchup.

The Jets have the secondary to shut down their weapons, but with a great running game and arguably the best offensive line in the NFL, the Jets will need to be at their very best during a tough stretch to start the season.

The last time these teams met was back in 2019, with the Jets coming away with the 24-22 victory, but with both teams improving immensely since that time, this one should be a fun one.
