After a rough week two loss, the NY Jets will look to bounce back in week three against the New England Patriots. The Jets have lost 14 straight games to the Patriots, and they are eager to put that streak to an end.

Many of the Jets players will try to put last week behind them and bounce back strong this week. Let’s take a look at five Jets players to watch in week three against the Patriots.

Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets

Despite an ugly box score, Zach Wilson had a promising performance last week. He kept them in the game for three and a half quarters and only fell apart at the end of the game when they were already down by 20 points.

The Cowboys have one of the best defenses in the NFL and were putting pressure on Wilson all game. This week will be a big week for Wilson, as he has performed poorly in all of his games against the Patriots to this point.

This is a great opportunity for him to show that he really has changed.

Breece Hall/Dalvin Cook, RB, NY Jets

Last week, the Jets could not get the running game going, and that held back the offense. It will be important for them to establish the run this week.

Breece Hall needs to get the bulk of the carries, as he has been a much better running back than Dalvin Cook to this point. Hall was upset with his usage last week and should see a bigger role in the offense this week.

NY Jets offensive line

The offensive line was overwhelmed by a great Cowboys pass rush last week but needs to be better this week. Zach Wilson was under constant pressure, and the few attempts to run the ball did not amount to much.

Everyone on the offensive line needs to play better, and another bad week this week could lead to changes. Joe Tippmann should get a chance if things do not get better.

Most offensive lines would struggle against the Cowboys, so proving themselves this week is very important for the Jets' offensive line.

NY Jets defense

Robert Saleh’s defense did not play up to its standard last week. They gave up 30 points to the Cowboys' offense. One of the biggest issues for the defense was not being able to get off the field on third downs. They gave up 9-of-18 third downs.

The Cowboys were able to easily move the ball down the field, and what we saw was not what people expect from the defense this season. Zach Wilson and the offense are one thing, but the Jets' defense needs to get back on track.
