5 NY Jets players who could steal the show on 'Hard Knocks'
By Justin Fried
The 2010 season of HBO's "Hard Knocks" is widely regarded as perhaps the best season in the show's history. 13 years later, the NY Jets will return to the hit HBO show in search of their first postseason appearance since their last time on "Hard Knocks."
That season made legends out of a number of individuals in the Jets' organization. Rex Ryan's legacy and mainstream attention only grew with every colorful soundbite the NFL Films crew captured.
Antonio Cromartie's struggle to name his nine children is one of the show's lasting memories. Even players like Danny Woodhead and John Conner will forever be remembered as cornerstones of that "Hard Knocks" season.
With the Jets officially returning to "Hard Knocks" this summer, who might follow in their footsteps? Let's take a look at five Jets that could steal the show on "Hard Knocks."
5. Michael Carter, RB, NY Jets
Michael Carter has one of the most engaging and entertaining personalities on the entire Jets' roster. We've seen it in spurts already, but one can only imagine how he might shine under the bright lights of "Hard Knocks."
Whether Carter is serenading Jermaine Johnson in the locker room or hyping up his "twin" Michael Carter II on the sideline, the third-year running back always seems to steal the show.
During a livestream earlier this year, Jets running back Breece Hall listed Carter as one of the funniest players on the team. It's likely that Hall isn't the only one who shares this opinion.
Soon enough, the entire football world will have an opportunity to witness Carter's antics on "Hard Knocks." Don't be surprised if he steals the show once again.
