The NY Jets have seen plenty of roster turnover since general manager Joe Douglas first joined the team prior to the start of the 2019 season.

The roster the team is left with now looks almost entirely different from the one that Douglas inherited with very few holdovers still contributing. This was always going to be the case given the state of the organization when Douglas assumed control.

But just because plenty of roster upheaval has already taken place doesn't mean the team's work is over. Far from it, in fact.

The Jets have a number of soon-to-expire contracts on their books and it's unlikely they look to re-sign most of these players. Now, players like Folorunso Fatukasi, Mike White, and even Braxton Berrios could possibly return.

The Jets might look to re-sign a handful of their pending free agents. But of the 23 players with expiring contracts, it's highly likely that the vast majority are looking for a new team next season.

That makes putting together a list like this rather easy — there are plenty of obvious candidates to pick from.

With that being said, let's take a look at four pending free agents who are almost guaranteed not to return in 2022.
