The NY Jets, like 29 other teams, will be watching the Super Bowl from home this season. For the Jets, this isn't a new situation they find themselves in, if anything it's a troubling trend that's spanned decades and decades.

But if the Cincinnati Bengals are proof of anything, it's that teams can go from worst to first in the blink of an eye.

We don't have to recount the similarities between these two franchises again (we've already done that here), but it is worth noting that the Jets theoretically could find themselves in Cincinnati's place before long.

If they play their cards right, however.

Fortunately, while watching this game from the comfort of their own homes, the Jets could pay close attention to a number of players who are set to hit free agency in the near future.

Both the Bengals and Rams built heavily through free agency and trades, at least this past offseason in the Bengals' case. Jets general manager Joe Douglas has hinted at being more aggressive this offseason, and that starts in free agency.

With that, let's take a look at four pending free agents from Super Bowl teams the Jets could target this offseason.
