3. Wide receiver

The Jets have a bonafide star wide receiver on their roster in Garrett Wilson. The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year is coming off a record-setting rookie season that saw him finish with 83 catches for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns.

He did that while being saddled with the worst quarterback play in the NFL. One can only imagine the numbers he might put up this season with Rodgers throwing him the ball.

Wilson helps catapult a so-so position group into one of the strongest on the team, but he's not alone. While the Jets lack a true solidified WR2, they have quality depth. The Jets are four/five-deep at wide receiver.

Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman, and Corey Davis are all capable wide receivers in their own right. Lazard may be a weak WR2, but Davis is as strong of a WR4 as you're going to get. Randall Cobb is also a rock-solid WR5.

Now, if the Jets went out and DeAndre Hopkins, they would instantly boast one of the strongest wide receiver corps in the NFL. Unfortunately, that seems unlikely to happen for various reasons.

Still, the Jets have quality depth in their wide receiver group. Wilson is obviously the star of this unit, but don't overlook the players behind him on the depth chart.

You could do a lot worse than Lazard, Hardman, and Davis as your second, third, and fourth-best wide receivers.
