1. Aaron Rodgers, QB, NY Jets (86)

There are reasons Rodgers is rated this low. The game wants to put some distance between him and the upper-echelon players like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, and they seem to be punishing an aging quarterback for his worst season in quite some time, perhaps too harshly.

While he is the seventh-best quarterback in the game, is it a bit too unreasonable to bump him up to 88 overall? If Jalen Hurts gets that bump for finishing second in MVP voting, can't Rodgers stay up there for winning two consecutive MVP awards prior to last year? 86 seems a bit too pessimistic.

Rodgers will be on a Jets team that has a much better collection of supporting receivers around him, an offensive coordinator in Nathaniel Hackett who has helped him win MVP awards in the past, and an offensive line that is going to be much better than the banged-up unit on display last season.

Rodgers may not have been at the top of his game, but the highs were still there, and his talent was still evident. If the Jets start off hot amid what could be a tough schedule and Rodgers plays like the back of his football card says he can, that number will be bumped up very quickly.
