3 NY Jets who can dominate in fantasy football this year
By Cade Cracas
Fantasy football season may be more important than the actual NFL season for some football fans, and if you are included in that demographic, this is the article for you.
After adding a multitude of talent this offseason, the NY Jets are primed to have multiple players break out and become fantasy football stars.
Here are three Jets who can dominate in fantasy football this season, why they stand out, and where you should take them in your fantasy draft.
1. Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets
2021 Statistics: 162.9 Total Fantasy Points, 12.5 PPG
2022 Prediction: 325.0 Total Fantasy Points, 19.1 PPG
After a rookie season that saw countless injuries and bumps along the road for Zach Wilson, the 2022 NFL season is looking extremely bright.
I would be extremely high on Wilson after a revitalized offseason that saw the Jets bring in tight ends Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah, rookie running back Breece Hall, and rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson to beef up the offense.
Wilson has also seen a drastic increase in his physical stature this offseason. Wilson has "beefed up" and become more muscular according to multiple media reports.
These reports suggest that the possibility for Wilson to become a more mobile quarterback next season looks likely, which will ultimately increase his stock in fantasy football.
Where would I take Zach Wilson?
Look to take Wilson as one of your top quarterbacks, potentially even your QB1 as his stock is going to be going up as the 2022 season trugs along.
