2. EDGE Haason Reddick

The Jets let Bryce Huff sign with the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency, but they quickly moved to find a replacement when they acquired Reddick from Philly in a trade. As good as Huff was, Reddick will be a comparable pass rusher and a much better run defender with a history of stepping up in big games.

Reddick is one of just a handful of players with 10 or more sacks in each of the last four seasons, and he's done it with three different teams. Just one year removed from amassing 16 sacks and coming in fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting, Reddick will be ready to cook in Robert Saleh's defense.

Haason Reddick will be a stud for the NY Jets

The Jets will have one of the best edge rush duos in the game between Reddick and 2023 Pro Bowl player Jermaine Johnson. If Will McDonald plays like a Top 15 pick, which could happen after his brief flashes last season, the Jets will once again have one of the game's most disruptive defensive lines.

The fact the Jets, who are still trying to sign Reddick to a contract extension, were able to acquire a player with his physical gifts without giving up a first-round pick is a minor miracle. Reddick has something to prove, and Saleh's aggressive defense could help him realize that potential.
