Week 14 vs. Miami Dolphins
Dolphins fans are rightfully feeling quite smug, as they are fresh off pounding the Jets into the dirt twice last season. Quarterback injuries notwithstanding, Mike McDaniel (another former 49ers coach) and Tua Tagovailoa were able to pad their stats at the expense of Saleh and the Jets.
Miami made some defensive improvements this season that could be the predecessor to another postseason run. The Jets will face off against Miami in Week 14 before ending the season against the Dolphins in a game that could have some major postseason implications.
The NY Jets will face the Miami Dolphins in Week 14
There's quite a real chance that New York and Miami could end up fighting it out for the role of AFC East champion if the subtractions from the Bills roster proves to be too much for them to handle. If that's the case, Saleh will need to show he can shut Miami down when Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill are clicking.
If the Jets are able to beat the Dolphins, the guard will have officially changed in the AFC East. In this hypothetical, the Bills will be stick in mediocrity as Allen tries to superhumanly drag them to the postseason, while the Dolphins struggle to compete with New York's new identity. Of course, this all hinges on Rodgers playing like his old self.
