The New York Jets are set to play the Green Bay Packers in Week 2 for their home opener. New York goes into this game 1-0; meanwhile, the Packers are 0-1.

The Jets are feeling good and have a chance to improve to 2-0, but it won't be easy. While most people will pick Green Bay to win, there's a real pathway for New York, and FanSided lead editor and site expert for Lombardi Ave, Freddie Boston, told me about a glaring weakness the Packers have.

"Packers fans were worried about the offensive line entering Week 1. In reality, it was far, far worse than anyone anticipated. According to Next Gen Stats (via ESPN's
Benjamin Solak), Jordan Love was blitzed on 78.3 percent of his dropbacks, with the Vikings generating a 52.8 percent pressure rate."

"Love was sacked four times and hit 15 times, and the Packers had zero answers. Per PFF, left tackle Jordan Morgan, who is now supposedly in his most natural position, allowed a team-worst five pressures. Right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele is returning from a significant knee injury and didn't look fully healthy, allowing four pressures," Boston wrote.

Boston added, "The problems are even bigger at guard, with the Packers forced to start the inexperienced Donovan Jennings and Jacob Monk in Week 1. You can probably guess how that turned out. Aaron Glenn knows Matt LaFleur's system well, and he'll enjoy what he sees on tape. The Packers' offensive line is a major concern, and the Jets will try to take advantage."

For a Jets team looking for anything to exploit, this is an area that should have the focus of the coaching staff when crafting the game plan.

New York Jets know where they can hurt the Packers in Week 2

Trevor Sikkema of the NFL Network revealed that four of the five Packers offensive linemen had a time-to-pressure average of 2.5 seconds or less, including tackles Jordan Morgan and Zach Bako-Bewele. In addition, ESPN's Seth Walder posted that Morgan was ranked last among tackles in pass-block win rate in Week 1.

In Week 1, Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores found a crack and kept attacking it by blitzing. When a team brings pressure, the quarterback usually doesn't have time to scan the field and go through multiple reads. They need to find their hot route and get the ball out, but Jordan Love had trouble doing so.

In the loss to Minnesota, Love was 8-of-17 for 51 yards and an interception on passes under 10 air yards. When the clock was sped up, he didn't have the same success. They also had communication problems upfront, as they allowed 10 unblocked pressures.

While Aaron Glenn may not bring pressure at that high a rate, he isn't afraid to blitz. In fact, in Week 1, Glenn blitzed on 44 percent of his calls, which ranked third in the league.

With how badly the Packers couldn't handle the extra pressure, you know Glenn will include that in his plan to attack this offense.

It's also important to note that since Micah Parsons went down with a torn ACL, Green Bay has lost six straight games, including the playoffs. In four of those games, they have also allowed 30-plus points.

While there will be room to attack them defensively, the biggest weakness that the Packers have right now is their offensive line. Against the Titans, New York was able to get into the backfield, as they generated plenty of pressure and logged three sacks.

With how poorly Green Bay's tackles played, David Bailey, Will McDonald, and Kingsley Enagbare could be in for a treat off the edge. If guys like T'Vondre Sweat, Harrison Phillips, David Onyemata, and Jowon Briggs can push the interior of the offensive line back, it will reap great rewards.

There's no question that the Jets will bring pressure and blitz this OL after how they failed to adjust in Week 1. And that could be the key to a New York victory and help them improve to 2-0.
