NY Jets win the Week 15 'Tank Bowl' and slide down 2025 NFL Draft order
By Justin Fried
The NY Jets managed to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL's Week 15 edition of the "Tank Bowl," coming away with a 32-25 win. While the win was certainly a positive change of pace for many guys within the organization, it came at a cost.
The Jets and Jaguars both entered Sunday's game with a 3-10 record and a potential shot at a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, only one of those teams has a realistic chance now.
The Jets were able to hold on and defeat an abysmal Jaguars team thanks to a last-minute Mac Jones interception that sealed their fate. Sauce Gardner recorded his first interception in over 30 games as the Jets cruised to their fourth victory of the season.

The Jets' win on Sunday sends them sliding to the eighth overall pick in next year's draft. A loss to the Jaguars would've seen them climb all the way to the fourth pick, which makes Sunday's game even more painful for pro-tank Jets fans.
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams showcased the connection Jets fans have been waiting weeks for. Adams torched the Jaguars' defense, finishing with nine catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Rodgers threw another touchdown to Garrett Wilson and led the Jets in rushing with 45 yards.
Unfortunately, it's difficult to get excited about a Jets win led by two players who are not expected to be on the roster next season. For Jets fans desperate to see their favorite team win a football game, today was a good day.
But if you're one of the many Jets fans rooting for a better draft pick, Sunday's win over the Jaguars had serious consequences.
