The NY Jets enter their Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Rams nursing a few key injuries, including one to star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. One player who will undoubtedly be active, however, is running back Breece Hall.

Hall has been battling a knee injury for the last month and was even forced to miss the team's Week 14 game. Despite playing a season-low 48 percent of snaps last Sunday, Hall was a full participant in practice this week and is not on the team's injury report.

The same can't be said for rookie running back Braelon Allen, who is listed as questionable with a back injury. Allen exited Sunday's game early with the injury and was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The hope is that he will be able to play in today's game.

Nickel cornerback Michael Carter II (back) has been ruled out while right guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) is questionable. The expectation is that he will play this week.

Nose tackle Leki Fotu was eligible to be activated from the injured reserve this week and was a full participant in practice. The Jets, however, ruled him out on Saturday and he will miss another week.

The Rams enter today's game with a clean injury report, as no players on their 53-man roster have been given an injury designation. Los Angeles will be mostly at full strength for today's game.

Who are the official inactives for both the Jets and the Rams today? We've got you covered.

  • CB Michael Carter II
  • CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse
  • OL Xavier Newman
  • OL Jake Hanson
  • SAF Jaylin Simpson
  • DT Quinnen Williams

The Jets have ruled out two players due to injury in today's game, the first being nickel cornerback Michael Carter II. Carter has been nursing a back injury for nearly the entire season and hasn't played more than 37 percent of snaps in a game since October.

The Jets will hold Carter out of this week's game and could consider shutting him down for the 2024 season. Expect to see plenty of Isaiah Oliver and Kendall Sheffield in his place. The Jets also elevated undrafted rookie safety Jarius Monroe from their practice squad to provide extra defensive back depth.

Quinnen Williams is inactive after not practicing all week. Williams tested out his hamstring injury in pre-game warmups and the team decided to hold him out. The Jets elevated Bruce Hector from their practice squad to provide depth alongside Javon Kinlaw, Solomon Thomas, and Leonard Taylor.

Rookie wide receiver Malachi Corley is active this week after he was a healthy scratch in Week 15. The Jets didn't have an extra elevation to use on Brandon Smith, so Corley gets the nod.

  • QB Stetson Bennett (emergency third QB)
  • RB Cody Schrader
  • CB Emmanuel Forbes
  • WR Tyler Johnson
  • OL Dylan McMahon
  • OL Warren McClendon Jr.

The Rams will have a fully healthy roster when they take on the Jets in today's game. Every inactive for Los Angeles is a healthy scratch, including backup offensive tackle Warren McClendon Jr., who has started four games this season.

Starting cornerback Cobie Durant returns after missing last week's game due to injury. Durant was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday and was not given a designation on the final injury report.

Tight end Tyler Higbee will make his season debut today after returning from a serious knee injury. The Rams have opted to keep all four tight ends on their 53-man roster active for today's game.
