Jets inactives list for Week 8 game vs Raiders (Breece Hall status revealed)

The New York Jets will limp into their Week 8 showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders, reeling from a slew of injuries and a humiliating home loss to the Miami Dolphins a week ago. If last Sunday's game was a must-win for Aaron Glenn and his coaching staff, this week's matchup might as well be a matter of survival.

With the Jets' season spiraling out of control and Glenn's job security facing increasing scrutiny, another embarrassing loss could push an already embattled coaching staff to the point of no return.

Unfortunately, the Jets won't exactly be at full strength for this week's game. The team placed defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat (knee) on the injured reserve on Saturday, further decimating a struggling Jets defensive line.

Rookie edge rusher David Bailey (groin) is listed as doubtful and is not expected to play after failing to practice this week. Outside linebacker Joseph Ossai (ankle) has once again been ruled out, and the same is true for backup offensive tackle Max Mitchell (concussion).

Running back Breece Hall (quad) is listed as questionable for the second consecutive week, but reports indicate that he is not expected to play in today's game. Hall was limited in practice all week but was unable to participate in full.

Left guard Dylan Parham (knee) is also questionable to play, but he was able to log a full practice on Friday and is seemingly trending toward playing. If he's unable to go, Jordan Meredith would once again start at left guard against his former team.

As for the Raiders, defensive end Patrick Johnson (stinger) was ruled out and placed on IR this weekend. Backup tight end Carter Runyon (foot) has also been ruled out and will remain on the injured reserve for another week.

Wide receiver Jack Bech (forearm) is listed as questionable to play after he was activated from the injured reserve this weekend. Bech is expected to make his return in today's game.

Backup offensive guard Jackson Powers-Johnson is questionable with a back injury after popping up on the injury report on Thursday. Las Vegas is expected to start rookie Trey Zuhn at right guard for the first time this week.
