The NY Jets return home to East Rutherford this week down a head coach following the team's 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. Monday night's game will be the first in the post-Robert Saleh era, and the pressure is on to produce positive results.

New interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich takes over a 2-3 Jets team that has shown some promise through five weeks, but they've ultimately been unable to put it all together.

Their Week 6 opponents, the Buffalo Bills, have stumbled as of late, losing each of their last two games following a 3-0 start to the season. They're very much in need of a bounce-back team against a Jets team in disarray on Monday.

NY Jets vs Bills game details:

  • Location: MetLife Stadium
  • Kickoff time: 8:15 pm ET
  • Last matchup: 2023 (32-6 Bills win)

The last time these two teams met was November of last season, when Josh Allen and the Bills cruised to a 32-6 win over a Jets team led by a combination of Zach Wilson and Tim Boyle at quarterback.

This was the game the Jets actually benched Wilson for Boyle, with the latter throwing for just 33 yards on 14 attempts. Breece Hall led the Jets in rushing (23 yards) and receiving (50 yards) in what was an abysmal day for Gang Green.

The Bills hold the all-time series lead over the Jets at 69-58 and have won six of the last eight games against their division rivals. The Jets are hoping to put an end to that recent slide on Monday night.
