Davante Adams magically healthy on final NY Jets injury report for Week 7
By Justin Fried
NY Jets wide receiver Davante Adams has been nursing a hamstring injury that's kept him sidelined over the last few weeks, but it should come as no surprise to anyone that said hamstring injury has suddenly healed now that he's been traded.
Adams popped up on the injury report in Week 4 when he was still a member of the Las Vegas Raiders and proceeded to miss each of his team's next three games. The hamstring injury doesn't seem to be an issue anymore now that he's in Florham Park, however.
Adams was a full participant in practice all week with the Jets and does not have an injury designation entering his team's Week 7 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
Not only is Adams expected to make his Jets debut on Sunday but the expectation is that he will receive a full workload. It's amazing the healing power a trade can have in the NFL.

Nickel cornerback Michael Carter II is the only Jets player ruled out for Sunday's game. Carter injured his back in pregame warmups ahead of the team's Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings and missed last week due to injury as well.
The former Duke star did not practice all week, which is why it doesn't come as a surprise that he's already been ruled out. Versatile defensive back Isaiah Oliver is expected to continue filling in while Carter is sidelined.
Fellow cornerback D.J. Reed is also a major question mark for Week 7. Reed suffered a groin injury this past Monday and did not practice all week. Still, the Jets are listing him as questionable and he's expected to be a game-time decision. Brandin Echols would start in his place if Reed is unable to play.
Tight end Tyler Conklin is listed as questionable with a hip injury, but the expectation is that he plays on Sunday. Conklin was a limited participant in practice and was similarly listed as questionable last week. Jeremy Ruckert is the only other tight end currently on the Jets' 53-man roster after Brenden Bates was waived this week.
Backup linebacker and special-teamer Chazz Surratt is listed as questionable with a heel injury, but he too is expected to play. Surratt re-assumed his role as the Jets' fourth linebacker following the return of C.J. Mosley last week.
The likes of Adams, Aaron Rodgers (ankle), Will McDonald (shoulder), and Morgan Moses (knee) remain on the injury report but do not have a designated status entering Sunday's game.
Wide receiver Mike Williams is also expected to play despite missing Wednesday and Thursday due to personal reasons. Williams has been the subject of extensive trade rumors but will suit up for at least one more game with the Jets.
