Here’s the Week 15 edition of top 5 quarterbacks to slot into your starting lineup in fantasy football.

Week 15. Wow, that’s scary. It’s hard to believe the NFL season is entering the final three weeks of the regular season.

While some teams fight for their playoff lives, many of you will be fighting for your fantasy football championship titles. Week 15 usually marks either the first or second week of fantasy championship games.

Last week’s edition of top five quarterbacks to start didn’t help anyone’s cause. Only two players finished as top 10 scorers in ESPN PPR standard scoring leagues.

Patrick Mahomes was the highest-scoring player listed with his 20.8 fantasy points, and Aaron Rodgers came away with 20.2. Philip Rivers, Jameis Winston, and Drew Brees all finished outside the top 10. Here are the top five quarterbacks to start in Week 15 fantasy football.

5. Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans

The Houston Texans still have a lot to play for. The team wants to lock up a first-round playoff bye.

The Texans had been one of the hottest teams in the NFL prior to their Week 14 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Before that, the team had ripped off nine straight wins after a very slow start.

A huge reason to the Texans strong play has been how well Deshaun Watson has performed. He has been one of the better fantasy quarterbacks.

This week, the Texans play the New York Jets. The Jets have picked off 13 passes, but they have also allowed 21 passing scores.

Next: 4. Philip Rivers

4. Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers

Watch out Kansas City Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers are coming for you. In fact, the last Thursday Night Football game of the season features a head-to-head matchup between these two teams.

Sometimes, that Thursday game can be an unpopular game. However, this week’s game has a lot of playoff implications.

The Chargers have been on a hot streak with veteran gunslinger Philip Rivers playing very well. He has yet to have a game without throwing for a TD this year.

The Chiefs defense has played a bit better of late. However, they have still given up 25 passing touchdowns to opposing QBs.

Next: 3. Ben Roethlisberger

3. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben is considered questionable after he exited the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 14 loss to the Oakland Raiders. However, it seems as though he will be suiting up in Week 15.

Roethlisberger had himself a fine day while on the field against the Raiders. He threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns.

Yes, the Steelers were without James Conner, but Roethlisberger has been connecting with Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster well. The Steelers will look for revenge when they host the New England Patriots in Week 15.

Last year, the Steelers felt they were robbed against the Pats. This will be a fun one, and Roethlisberger is a way different QB at home.

Next: 2. Jared Goff

2. Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams

More from The Jet Press

Jared Goff had one of the worst games of his career last week. In fact, the whole Los Angeles Rams team was completely embarrassed by the Chicago Bears in Week 14.

The Rams traveled to Chicago and left with a 15-6 loss under their belts. Goff threw for only 180 yards and tossed four picks.

Yes, it was most certainly a game to forget for the Rams and Goff. However, that is exactly why Goff is a must start this week.

Goff will want to prove to everyone that last game was a fluke. This week, the Rams travel to Philadelphia to play one of the most injured secondaries in the NFL.

Next: 1. Patrick Mahomes

1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Yes, Patrick Mahomes heads this week’s edition just like he’s done in many weeks before. He has proven to be the best quarterback in the NFL this year.

Mahomes threw for 377 yards and two scores during the Kansas City Chiefs win against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. The team now sits atop the AFC West with a record of 11-2.

As mentioned in the Rivers slide, the Chiefs and Chargers will play a huge game this week. The Chargers are one game behind the Chiefs with a record of 10-3.

Jets should set Todd Bowles and Mike Maccagnan free. Must Read

The Chargers have been a strong defensive team and they have held their own against the pass. But, as we have seen all year, all bets are off when Mahomes steps onto the field.
