In Madden NFL 18, the New York Jets got one of the lowest overall team ratings possible. Needless to say, it’s pretty accurate.

Madden NFL 18 is out now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as it promises to once again deliver an amazing experience for football fans across the globe. From a new single-player story mode, upcoming Esports competition, and all the excitement Madden Ultimate Team brings, it will undoubtedly be enjoyed all season long. When it comes to the New York Jets and their overall team rating, can anyone really be surprised?

In an article written by Asif Khan of Shack News, he confirmed that the Jets ended up with a 75 overall team rating and tied for dead last. That’s right, they share a 75 with the Los Angeles Rams with teams such as the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, and even the Chicago Bears ahead of them.

It’s no secret that the Jets are rebuilding and have ushered in such a youth movement, they sent older veterans packing in order to let the young players enjoy regular season experience. They’ll be a lot of growing pains for this team in real life and even in the popular video game, as one can imagine they won’t be as good either when playing against others online.

Yeah Jets fans, you might want to focus on creating and building your Madden Ultimate Team throughout the season since it’s hard to believe you’ll win many ranked games with this team.

From a huge question mark at quarterback, no popular names at wide receiver, and running backs dealing with injuries, the Jets offense probably won’t score you many points to win games, to say the least.

The defensive line of the Jets will be a strength of the team but again, it can only do so much against players that will exploit the lackluster secondary of the team. You won’t win many football games in Madden unless you think you can outscore opponents with field goals.

To make matters worst for fans of the Jets, naturally, the New England Patriots are rated as the top team in this year’s Madden. Yeah, they were rated at 93 with Tom Brady having a 99 overall rating. Yeah, it’s going to be a long Jets season both in the real-world and online.
