The New York Jets head to the Motor City in hopes of a consecutive preseason win over the Detroit Lions. Here’s a preview and how to watch on television or even live stream online.
Tonight, the New York Jets hit the road for the first time this preseason as their Week 2 matchup finds them in Ford Field against the Detroit Lions. Speaking of which, the Lions are also 1-0 and are also looking to find more hidden gems on their team.
The Jets actually impressed in their preseason win over the Tennessee Titans. Their starting offense showed promise and yes, actually scored a touchdown through the air. For all those fans and analysts that said the Jets might end up being the worst team in the NFL this season, they silenced some of their critics.
Of course, it’s just a preseason as these games are meaningless. Regardless though, it was good to see the Jets score on offense and see their defense holding their own. Last week, the Jets totaled eight sacks as a team which in the grand scheme of things, is impressive. The Jets defense showed passion, urgency, and played well which shows that the culture set by the coaching staff is showing early on in preseason action.
