Jets launch Fan Hall of Fame for 2017 season

The New York Jets want to give back to all their loyal fans by introducing their own Fan Hall of Fame debuting this upcoming season.

Whether you’ve loved the New York Jets for thirty years or just became a fan as of late, there is no questioning the loyalty of this dedicated fan base. Yeah, there is a lot of anger, frustration, and sadness but at the end of the day, Jets Nation will always root for their team through thick and thin. The Jets know that they have some of the most passionate football fans in the world and want to recognize them on a yearly basis.

Set to debut this upcoming season, the new Fan Hall of Fame will crown the biggest Jets fan that can either apply or be nominated for this honor. You can apply for yourself or nominate someone by visiting the official page for submissions.

Fans will be able to vote in the open nomination process which also includes a pre-screening by members of the Jets staff and former players. The Jets haven’t said how many they plan to induct in the first year this is being launched but the recognition and rewards are undoubtedly worth it.

If a Jets fan is selected to be a part of the Fan Hall of Fame, they will be part of an on-field ceremony at the Jets home game on Sun, Dec 24, 2017, against the Los Angeles Chargers.

They will get four EY Coaches Club tickets to attend the game and have their picture/story permanently memorialized at both MetLife Stadium and the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in new sections dedicated just for the Fan Hall of Fame.

In addition to everything, those that are inducted will also receive their very own and exclusive varsity jacket. Even if you don’t get the nod to enter the Fan Hall of Fame, everyone that submits a valid nomination will at the very least earn a special discount code to use in the online shop of the Jets.

For those that submit a valid nomination and are also season ticket holders, they will also receive 500 Jets Rewards points. Submissions must be sent before Sun, Oct 1, 2017, in order to be eligible.
