Stay updated on Organized Team Activities of the New York Jets for today from reputable and official sources.

Today marks the second week of Organized Team Activities for the New York Jets. These are mandatory sessions meant to give players an opportunity to get a head start around workout regimens, techniques, and basically do light reps when it comes to their respective positional groups.

Last week, coaches were vocal, aggressive, and set the tone for what should be an interesting summer for the Jets. OTAs don’t have any heavy workloads or tackling so again, it shouldn’t be used for or against any players trying to get ahead on the depth chart. All of that is reserved for training camp where the real positional battles begin.

Of course, the quarterback situation of the Jets will be what dominates headlines all offseason long. It’ll come down to Josh McCown, Bryce Petty, and Christian Hackenberg making the case to be the next starting quarterback once the regular season arrives. The Jets plan to have an open quarterback competition but again, that won’t be until training camp.

More from Jets News

For now, all three quarterbacks have attended every OTA and are working together to ensure that the best person wins. It’s a much better situation this time around compared to what the Jets had the last offseason.

Below is our official live tracker for OTAs which will be updated by the minute.

We here at The Jet Press will only post tweets/updates from official, verified, and legitimate sources so don’t worry about anything bogus or fake being updated below.

We also encourage our readers to please follow us on Twitter and Facebook as we’ll be posting updates there as well. From everyone here at The Jet Press, we hope you enjoy our coverage of today’s organized team activities and please keep refreshing this page for the latest updates!
