2017 NFL Draft: Undrafted free agent tracker for the New York Jets
Now that the 2017 NFL Draft is officially over, stay up-to-date on all the undrafted free agents the New York Jets sign.
The New York Jets had quite the interesting 2017 NFL Draft. Not only did they land one of the top safeties in Jamal Adams with their No. 6 overall pick, but general manager Mike Maccagnan really should have his nickname be “Trader Mike” thanks to all the wheeling and dealing he did to acquire more draft picks.
As of right now, the draft class of the Jets ends with nine new players ready to prove their worth. It was a balanced approached by Maccagnan as he first focused on bolstering the defensive secondary of the Jets. After that was addressed, he added some offensive weapons which included and no, this isn’t a typo, an actual tight end! The Jets finally now have a player that should be able to at least make a difference on offense besides blocking and dropping easy touchdown receptions from the position.
