Heading into Week 10 Fantasy Football action, running back Matt Forte will more than likely be given a plethora of reps. He’s a must-start against the Los Angeles Rams.

Make no mistake about it, the offense of the New York Jets is as bad as it comes. The Jets depend too much on trying to pass the football with an inconsistent quarterback in Ryan Fitzpatrick. The common factor in the three games the Jets actually won this season was the play of running back Matt Forte. If he’s given the usual 25-35 reps to run the football, the Jets tend to be in a position to leave a football game victorious. Should fantasy football owners start Forte in Week 10?

It’s an easy decision to make in the grand scheme of things since Forte has the skill-set to really put on a show this week. Forte is riding a three-game streak of scoring at least one touchdown as it’ll continue to be the case on Sunday.

Considering Forte has rushed for four touchdowns on the ground and even one as a receiving option means his fantasy football value continues to increase. The Jets continue to have blind faith in Fitzpatrick to turn the season around but at the end of the day, expect to see them be conservative against the Rams.

Offensive coordinator Chan Gailey undoubtedly learned a lesson last week that if he puts Fitzpatrick in a position to throw more than handing off the football, they will continue to lose. Expect to see Gailey launch a run-heavy offensive game plan against the Rams with hopes of putting on a show in front of the home crowd.

Forte is an RB1 this week due to everything he brings to the table. He’s red-hot at this point of time in the season and will easily be a catalyst for the struggling offense of the Jets. Expect to see him total at least 100+ yards and a touchdown or two.

Overall, start Forte this week as he will do his best to end this disaster of a season by the Jets on a high note. He’s literally the only fantasy football option worth starting from the Jets in Week 10 action.
