It’s hard for fantasy football owners to dare start anyone related to the New York Jets. Heading into Week 8, the Jets have the best matchup anyone can ask for as they hit the road to face the Cleveland Browns. Yes, the only team in the NFL to not win a single game in 2016.

Fantasy owners should disregard everything quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has done so far this season due to his Week 8 matchup. Yes, he’s been terrible and the only reason he got his starting job back was due to a torn ACL injury to Geno Smith. Fitzpatrick has also said some rather discouraging comments about the organization which means he must deliver.
Anytime a situation like this occurs, a player tends to rise to the occasion and be fueled to succeed. There is no guarantee that Fitzpatrick will remain a starter after this week but for now, he’s easily a must-start for owners everywhere.
Fitzpatrick is known to have a few great games per season and well, this is absolutely one of them. The Browns are a complete disaster this season but they do play with passion and integrity. This is a golden situation for the offense of the Jets as Fitzpatrick should be able to come up huge. Expect to see his best game of the season against the Browns and continue to prove that he’s still worthy of starting.
