Matt Forte enters Madden NFL 2017 tournament for charity

When it comes to Madden NFL 2017, besides some amazing gameplay, several players of the league are in a great tournament with donations going straight to their desired charity of choice.

Last week, an amazing Madden NFL 2017 tournament by Microsoft Xbox was announced and is already a week in. The Xbox NFL Player Charity Challenge, a bracket-style Madden Tournament, is where the Jets’ Matt Forte and seven other NFL players will go head to head over Xbox Live for the chance to win $51,000 and Microsoft products (Surface Pro 4s and Xbox Ones) for their favorite charity.

Players for the challenge will be Forte, Doug Baldwin (Seattle Seahawks), Patrick Peterson (Arizona Cardinals), Aaron Donald (Los Angeles Rams), Devin McCourty (New England Patriots), Ndamukong Suh (Miami Dolphins), Greg Olsen (Carolina Panthers), and Von Miller (Denver Broncos). The first round matchups will take place each Tuesday during Weeks 7-10 of the regular season with the winners advancing for the chance to win the prize for their charity.

Each matchup will have a player at a local Microsoft store where fans can come cheer them on. All matchups will also be live streamed via Twitch for fans not able to attend in person, but would still like to hear all of the trash talking.

Fans will be able to submit brackets picks at www.xboxcharitychallenge.com from now until the start of the first matchup on 10/18 on who they think will win, ala March Madness for a chance to win a bunch of prizes.

Fans can also submit weekly picks at any point throughout the program timeline. Entrants who come the closest to picking the exact score of the match each week will receive a weekly prize, such as autographed merchandise, NFL Shop gift cards, and Xbox accessories.

And for every completed bracket and weekly pick submission, entrants receive one free entry into the Grand Prize Sweepstakes, for a chance to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LI in Houston.
