Heading into Week 5 Fantasy Football, wide receiver Quincy Enunwa of the New York Jets is not worth starting against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Unfortunately for fantasy football owners everywhere, wide receiver Quincy Enunwa of the New York Jets is currently listed as “questionable” in Week 5. If it’s anything to know about the red-hot Pittsburgh Steelers is they are a very physical football team in all aspects, especially on defense.

When it comes to fantasy football in general, it’s always best to avoid players dealing with injuries. A perfect case is a player like tight end Rob Gronkowski who is still recovering from a hamstring injury. Many fantasy owners easily drafted him since he’s a household name, only to realize he’s going to have an off year in the grand scheme of things.

It’s also a similar case with Enunwa who many predicted would be a rising star on the Jets. Due to the inefficiency of quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, he’s been off to a pretty bad start when it comes to his fantasy production.

So far this season, Enunwa has totaled just 243 receiving yards, 23 receptions, and a touchdown. Keep in mind, however, he scored his only touchdown of the year in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals and hasn’t scored in the past three games.

More from The Jet Press

It would be in the best interest of fantasy owners to sit Enunwa this week. The Jets’ offense isn’t clicking at all and Fitzpatrick will more than likely continue to play frazzled.

Considering that Fitzpatrick already has 10 interceptions this season, expect the Jets to focus more on their running game instead of airing it out against the Steelers.

It’s best to use another WR2 in your lineup or hit the waiver wire immediately to find the best available one entering a favorable matchup.

The season of the Jets is rapidly headed in a downward spiral and a week of practice won’t be enough to derail one of the better teams in the NFL.

Overall, Enunwa won’t do much against the Steelers, especially in a game where they are outmatched in almost every aspect. Plus with Enunwa’s nagging knee injury, don’t expect crazy fantasy numbers when owners are better off looking for someone else to start this week.
