Heading into Week 4 Fantasy Football, running back Matt Forte of the New York Jets is entering a great situation against the Seattle Seahawks.
As the New York Jets do their very best to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3, they will more than likely go back to basics. It’s no secret the Jets are a team built to win now thanks to their stellar defense and rushing attack. Running back Matt Forte enjoyed a huge Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills but wasn’t utilized as much in Week 3, leaving fantasy football owners in disbelief.

The Jets are welcoming the Seattle Seahawks this week to MetLife Stadium with hopes of having a bounce back win. It won’t be easy but they need to go back to the fundamentals that worked which is emphasize a commitment to the run.
Due to this, expect to see Forte once again be the workhorse on offense for the Jets. While he might not have another huge fantasy performance like he did in Week 2 against the Bills, he will undoubtedly be a catalyst on offense.
If it’s anything the Jets should have learned last week against the Chiefs is to not depend so much on quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to get the job done. He’s not built like that and quite honestly, shouldn’t have to throw 40+ times in any football game.

Fitzpatrick is a decent starting quarterback who simply had a bad game last week.
The season will continue as this week, the Jets can get back on track and go with their impact players on offense.
Expect to see Forte get a plethora of opportunities in this matchup.
Similar to what he did against the Bills, fantasy owners should start him as their RB1 this week since he’ll once again be a dual-threat out of the backfield.
Fantasy football owners can have confidence that the Jets will simplify their offensive game plan this week and trust Forte to get the job done.

Overall, Forte is an easy start this week against the Seahawks. Even though the Jets didn’t want to completely overwork him this season, this is just one of those games they have to resort to one of their top playmakers to bring this team out of their losing funk.
