In the Bengals vs Jets game, Gang Green has a golden opportunity to take advantage of some of the key injuries that hit Cincinnati.

With the injury report coming out eight players are going to be missed on the offensive side of the football for the Cincinnati Bengals. On Sunday in the first game of the season, the Bengals will have a lot of banged up players on the offensive side of the ball. The Jets will look to take advantage of this which would be a huge edge over the Bengals. The Jets’ defensive secondary should not have to worry about much since a lot of their playmakers won’t be on the field.

The biggest injury out of all the Bengals is the one to tight end Tyler Eifert who quarterback Andy Dalton looks at when wide receiver A.J. Green isn’t open.

It is something to look at because of who you wonder Dalton will target as a No. 2.

The defensive secondary will need to take Green out of the game because Dalton and the Bengals will then need to rely on the running game.

The Jets’ defensive line of Muhammad Wilkerson, Leonard Williams, and Steve McLendon who is new to the team will look to make a name for themselves . We could see the defense play many different schemes in order to confuse Dalton. Dalton likes to throw the ball up in the air a lot and it may cause him to throw a lot of interceptions in tomorrow’s game if they can bring the pressure.

It will be important to not let the team give up the big run for the defense to get off the field and rest up. The Jets will need to have complex defensive schemes on their pass rush because it will confuse the offensive line and win the battle of the trenches.

The Jets need to be aggressive like last season but to not pursue.

More from The Jet Press

The Jets should be able to penetrate the offensive line and get to the quarterback. It would make it tremendously difficult for the Bengals to keep those chains moving.

It is going to be a tough day for the Bengals and head coach Marvin Lewis will need to figure it out as it will prove to be too much to handle.

The Jets will be playing with a lot of emotion tomorrow and it will help them be dominant.

With all the injuries to the Bengals, it could be a long day for them. Mainly because of how aggressive the Jets will be.
