Jets vs Dolphins: Injury status report

The latest injury status report for the Jets vs Dolphins game has some key players either out or questions for Gang Green.

In preparation for this upcoming Sunday’s New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins game, both teams officially listed their injury reports on Friday. Thanks to the Media Relations Department of the Jets, they sent us the latest injury report for both teams entering this matchup.

One of the biggest injuries to the Jets in this matchup is to offensive guard Willie Colon who is out with a knee injury. With defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh ready to get his first sack of the season, having Colon would have helped in containing his efforts. Brian Winters gets the start and will have a huge test against him.

Wide receiver Eric Decker will more than likely see some playing time in this matchup, even if it’s in a limited role. He might get the nod to start but the Jets might take precautionary steps to ensure he doesn’t further injure his knee and put him in certain offensive packages to ease him into the game.

The Dolphins are effectively playing to save their season early on after their 1-2 start on the year. They got completely annihilated by the Buffalo Bills last week and will be looking for redemption against another one of their AFC East rivals. Expect them to play hard in this one especially since they don’t have any major injuries heading into this game.
