Poll: Final record of New York Jets in 2015?
The sky is the limit this upcoming season for the New York Jets. These aren’t the “same old Jets” as they are much-improved on paper thanks to all the splashy moves and successful 2015 NFL Draft they’ve had this offseason. What realistically should fans expect out of the Jets when all is said and done in 2015?
With a new leadership regime in place in head coach Todd Bowles and general manager Mike Maccagnan, they proved that they can spend plenty of money to acquire top talent during free agency to bolster key weaknesses on the team. With a revamped defensive secondary, better talent at wide receiver, quality depth at running back, defensive end and even at quarterback, the Jets are ready to make some noise in a rebound season.

Will it be enough to have the Jets make a return to being a playoff-contending team? Only time will tell since if everything falls into place, the Jets could be the real deal but when the games start to actually matter, who really knows what could transpire?
Certainly after all their offseason acquisitions and draft selections, they should have a better season than the 4-12 performance they put up last year.
One area of concern is definitely at quarterback that will alter the Jets’ final record since it’s the most important position on the team. Is it Geno Smith? Will it be an open competition this summer? With conflicting statements by Bowles and new offensive coordinator Chan Gailey on whether it’ll be Smith or a true open competition, only time will tell who will ultimately be under center for the Jets in 2015. It will essentially make or break their season.
