In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the biggest takeaways from Jets mandatory minicamp and complete a bracket of the worst quarterbacks in New York Jets history.

The show started with a discussion about the biggest takeaways from Jets mandatory minicamp last week. The Jets have completed their offseason program and it's full speed ahead to training camp next month. What did we learn this spring?

For starters, Josh Reynolds has seemingly emerged as the early favorite to win the Jets' WR2 job. Reynolds seems to have the edge on the incumbent Allen Lazard if reports are to be believed.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn also did his best to shut down Breece Hall trade rumors this spring. Is it still possible that Hall is traded before the end of the year? For sure. But it certainly seems much less likely to happen before Week 1 at this stage.

Defensive end Will McDonald has also reportedly put on 15+ pounds of weight this offseason. McDonald broke out with a 10.5-sack campaign in 2024, and the Jets are hoping the added weight can help him hold his own as a three-down edge defender.

Finally, fellow edge rusher Rashad Weaver reportedly put together a strong spring. We broke down his OTAs and minicamp performances and what it means for his standing with the Jets heading into the summer.

The second half of the show was devoted to a 16-player bracket of the worst quarterbacks in Jets history. How do recent Jets draft busts like Zach Wilson and Sam Darnold compare to busts of old like Browning Nagle and Neil O'Donnell? This was a torturous (but fun!) trip down memory lane.
