In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the Mike Williams trade, the NY Jets' other moves (or lack thereof) at the trade deadline, some notable Jets stats, and the upcoming Week 10 game against the Arizona Cardinals.

It was our first show in a week, so Justin and Mike took the time to break down the Jets' decision to trade Mike Williams this past Tuesday. Williams was sent to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a fifth-round pick just prior to the trade deadline.

The Williams signing was an abject failure for the Jets, but the team managed to receive pretty good value in return at this stage. Should Jets fans be happy about this trade? Was there a legitimate case for keeping Williams? Which receivers will step up in his absence?

The Jets were quiet at the deadline outside of the Williams trade. Despite receiving calls on players like D.J. Reed, Garrett Wilson, and even Davante Adams, the Jets decided not to sell any other pieces, with the team still competing for a playoff spot at 3-6.

The Jets also opted against making any other additions despite players like Jadeveon Clowney reportedly being on their radar. Should the Jets have made other moves? We took a look at both sides of the coin.

This week also marked the return of the Gang Green Stat Machine. Quinnen Williams is back to dominating, Garrett Wilson is putting together a top-five wide receiver season, Tyron Smith had a bounce-back game, the Will McDonald breakout season is officially here, and Jalen Mills has quietly been very good for the Jets. Finally, Justin and Mike broke down the Jets' upcoming Week 10 game against the Arizona Cardinals. The Jets are hoping to keep their season alive with a second consecutive win, but Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have other plans.
