In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano are joined by Connor Long to discuss New York Jets OTAs, Adonai Mitchell's growing chemistry with Geno Smith, Nahshon Wright, the tight end room, and more.

The show started with a discussion about the first two open media sessions of Jets OTAs, which are now officially in the books. Justin and Mike broke down their biggest takeaways from the early practices, including the growing connection between quarterback Geno Smith and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell.

The two discussed why Mitchell's skill set appears to be a perfect fit for Smith and how the duo could emerge as one of the Jets' most exciting offensive pairings in 2026.

The conversation then shifted to the Jets' cornerback room, where veteran Nahshon Wright has somewhat surprisingly been working with the first-team defense opposite Brandon Stephens instead of 2025 third-round pick Azareye'h Thomas.

Justin and Mike discussed whether Wright's early role is actually as surprising as many fans believe and what it could mean for the Jets' cornerback competition moving forward.

After that, we took a closer look at the Jets' tight end room, discussing how the team could deploy both Mason Taylor and Kenyon Sadiq this season. We also talked about why fans may want to temper expectations for Sadiq's rookie year despite his obvious upside.

The guys were then joined by Connor Long of Jets X-Factor. Connor shared his own observations from OTAs and discussed several areas of the roster that could still use reinforcements before the start of the season, along with potential avenues the Jets could explore to address those needs.

Finally, Justin, Mike, and Connor wrapped things up with a Jets-themed Sporcle challenge, this time attempting to name every Jets draft pick from 2015 through 2025. Were they able to get all 81 players? There's only one way to find out!
