In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano put together a roster consisting of the worst New York Jets players of the last 20 years. They also talked about the potential return of former Jets All-Pro safety Jamal Adams.

We opened the show by revisiting the discussion around Adams and his potential return to the Jets. The former All-Pro safety recently responded to a fan on Instagram, saying he regrets how things ended during his first stint with the organization and would welcome a return to New York.

It's the second straight offseason Adams has publicly expressed interest in coming back, prompting Justin and Mike to debate whether a reunion makes sense. While the nostalgia is easy to understand, they weighed whether Adams could still help the Jets on the field and if there's a realistic role for him in Aaron Glenn's defense.

The bulk of this week's episode, however, featured one of the more entertaining offseason exercises yet. Inspired by Pro Football Focus' recent All-Jets team spanning 2006 through 2025, Justin and Mike drafted the worst Jets 22-player starting lineup from that same 20-year stretch.

To keep things fair, every player had to make at least 10 starts with the Jets, eliminating random backups and focusing on players who actually had meaningful opportunities. There will be no Tim Boyle or Luke Falk on this list.

Some positions offered an abundance of choices. Wide receiver proved especially deep, with names like Stephen Hill, Allen Lazard, and David Nelson all making the final roster. Quarterback, meanwhile, was never much of a debate, as Zach Wilson headlined the offense. No surprise there!

The defense featured its own collection of infamous signings and draft busts, including Trumaine Johnson, Calvin Pryor, Darron Lee, and DeWayne Robertson, while Le'Veon Bell earned the starting running back spot after a highly disappointing Jets tenure.
