Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill snubbed the NY Jets yet again, but this time it's not exactly the team's fault.

Hill was reportedly considering a move to either the Dolphins or the Jets this past offseason, and he ended up picking Miami.

After the trade, he took a shot at the Jets franchise by pretending to not know who they were. Months later, Hill gave another reason for choosing the Dolphins over the Jets, and it essentially boils down to money.

Tyreek Hill is not a fan of New York state taxes

Florida, as many well know, doesn't have a state income tax; New York does.

Miami also made Hill the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history this summer, giving him a four-year, $120 million extension that includes roughly $72 million in guaranteed money.

It isn't uncommon to see players pick teams based on their paycheck, but it is surprising to hear Hill speak so candidly about it — he does have a reputation for honesty, after all.

Hill and the Dolphins will face the Jets in Week 5 in an intense AFC East matchup, and the Jets will no doubt want to show Hill what he's missing.

New York's cornerbacks have been extremely successful in shutting down opposing top wideouts, but they'll face perhaps their toughest challenge yet in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
