In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the Mike Williams signing, the Tyron Smith signing and the NY Jets' offensive line makeover, and if the Jets should draft Brock Bowers in the first round.

The conversation began with a discussion about the Jets' recent signing of former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams. Williams gives the Jets a high-end WR2 to pair with Garrett Wilson, essentially completing the team's offensive makeover.

The Jets swung for the fences with this move, much like they did with the Tyron Smith signing a few days earlier. Smith is the third new starting offensive lineman the Jets have added this offseason.

Williams and Smith both come with genuine injury concerns, but there's no denying that both players significantly raise the ceiling of what this Jets team can accomplish in 2024.

General manager Joe Douglas swung for the fences with these signings. The Jets are going all-in to build around Aaron Rodgers as they gear up for a Super Bowl run next season.

Williams and Smith both give the Jets ample flexibility ahead of next month's draft. The Jets won't be locked into targeting a wide receiver or an offensive tackle now, which could open up the opportunity to explore a player like Brock Bowers.

The talented Georgia tight end Brock Bowers doesn't necessarily fill a need for the Jets, but he would give the team another playmaker to build around on offense. Justin and Mike discuss if Bowers should be a target.

Finally, Justin and Mike broke down a few potential options for the Jets remaining in free agency. From Jadeveon Clowney to Ezekiel Elliott, the Jets could still make a few moves.
