In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the recent Zach Wilson trade and provide their final Jets mock drafts ahead of this week's 2024 NFL Draft.
The bulk of the episode was devoted to Justin and Mike's respective Jets mock drafts, but before that, the two discussed the recent Zach Wilson trade and what it means for the organization moving forward.
Did the Jets fail Wilson or did Wilson fail the Jets? Did the Jets receive good value in the Wilson trade? Are the Denver Broncos an attractive landing spot for the former BYU star? All of this was discussed.
The remainder of the episode was spent breaking down the seven-round Jets mock drafts that Justin and Mike put together. 14 different players were discussed in total, and neither Justin nor Mike projected any trades.
The entirety of the mock drafts can be found within the episode, but Justin had the Jets selecting Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze with the 10th overall pick while Mike had his team taking Georgia tight end Brock Bowers.
Bowers and Odunze are two popular picks for the Jets in mock drafts, but the remainder of both mocks had some notably surprising selections for Gang Green.
When did the Jets address their defense? Did the Jets draft a quarterback at any point? What about the offensive line? Who will be the Mr. Irrelevant selection? There's only one way to find out what Justin and Mike predicted.
