4. NY Jets vs. New England Patriots (Week 8) - October 30th, 1 pm ET

The last time the Jets won a home game against the New England Patriots was the 2015 Eric Decker overtime touchdown catch game. It has been seven years — that is insane. It was also the last time the Jets won ANY game against the Pats.

Zach Wilson had a disastrous home-opener against this team last year. There are plenty of reasons why we should have this game marked on our calendars as a must-win.

If this team is going to avoid going 0-6 in the division for the third year in a row, this is a game that needs to be won. This game is sandwiched in between matchups with the Broncos (at Denver) and the Bills, providing yet another reason why this contest is so crucial.

Bill Belichick aside, it’s easy to make the argument that the Jets have more talent than the Patriots after their influx of moves during the offseason. Nothing would be sweeter than walking out of MetLife Stadium with a win over New England.

5. NY Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals (Week 3) - September 25th, 1 pm ET

There are many fun storylines going on in this matchup. First off, if the Jets don’t send out the trio of C.J. Uzomah, Carl Lawson, and Mike White for the coin toss I will riot.

There will be a lot to prove for both teams here. While that may sound strange since the Bengals made the Super Bowl last year, they should have their senses heightened all week after last year’s stunning loss to the Jets.

The aforementioned former Bengals should enjoy playing against their old team for the first time. And hopefully, the only time that Mike White actually is on the field would be with that hat tip from the coaches during the coin toss.

While a win will be hard to come by, the team should have some added confidence in being able to hang with the AFC champs after last year's upset.
