The NY Jets schedule just dropped and the vibes with this team are immaculate at this point in the offseason. Most games this season should be better than what Jets fans have had to witness for the majority of the past decade.

With this renewed hope, let’s take a look at a ranking of the best games to attend at MetLife Stadium this season.

1. NY Jets vs. Baltimore Ravens (Week 1) - September 11th, 1 pm ET

By default, the top pick for this ranking was always going to be the home-opener at MetLife Stadium. This year is a bit of a change as the Jets don't face a division opponent to kick things off at MetLife (they had faced an AFC East team four out of the past five home-openers).

This will be a tough game to win as the Ravens are among the elite in the AFC, especially after a draft class that, along with the Jets, was one of the highest-rated among NFL experts. With that being said, this will be a great test to see if all of the preseason hype and roster moves amount to strides made on the field.

A couple of fun notes here: It will be C.J. Mosley's first game playing against his former team. Former Jet Morgan Moses will likely be starting on the Ravens' offensive line. And finally, Joe Flacco will be on the sidelines for the Jets against the team he long-ago led to a Super Bowl victory.

When the news first dropped about this game being the home-opener, I was a bit disappointed, but once it's 1 pm on NFL opening day and I am in the stands with the Jets faithful at MetLife, the energy will be electric.

I would be remiss to not mention that this game will be played on 9/11, a date that has major significance for the area as well as specifically for head coach Robert Saleh. This home-opener will be full of emotions and I can't wait for it.
