4- Offensive Playmakers

The rest of the offense has been really disappointing as well this year, and there is plenty of blame to go around.

The offensive line has been in shambles, as mentioned above, but backups playing out of position are bound to struggle eventually.

Allen Lazard has been a terrible signing, with as many drops and penalties as catches in the past month. He barely makes plays despite playing almost every down and never uses his size to his advantage, which is what he was signed to do.

Dalvin Cook has been an enormous liability, dropping easy passes and running into defenders in the backfield while posting league-worst yards per carry, average yards over expectation, and success rate.

Even Garrett Wilson has made some mistakes, with a key fumble and some drops throughout the year plaguing him in his sophomore season.

The entire offense needs to be better every week, and big-name free-agent additions must find some productivity for a team to be successful. The drops, penalties, fumbles, and missed assignments are all damaging to an offense that mightily struggles already with a really bad NFL quarterback.

But they are far from the main issue, for sure.
