The NY Jets are in a tight battle with the Tennessee Titans and are doing everything they can to get their first win of the season. Zach Wilson is finally looking like the guy the Jets thought they were getting when they took him second overall.

The BYU product has thrown two touchdowns to just one pick and the second touchdown pass he threw was one heck of a throw. It was by far the best throw of his career and it put the good guys up 24-17 over the Titans.

The pass was a 53-yard strike to Corey Davis and made people double-checking to see if Patrick Mahomes had switched teams or not. Yeah, the pass was that good.

Zach Wilson had a touchdown bomb in his fourth-ever start.

These are the kind of throws Jets fans were anticipating when the team spent the second overall pick on Wilson. In his defense, the protection up front hasn't been great but Wilson showed what kind of magic he can make happen when the protection holds up for just a bit longer than normal.

After that throw, the Jets are in better position to win and fans will feel better about what this kid can do in the long-term. This was not the case prior to this game.

Here's to hoping we see tons more of these touchdown bombs from Wilson in what we hope will be a long NFL career for the Utah native.
