The NY Jets have released their list of inactives ahead of their Week 9 meeting with the Buffalo Bills, and as for running back James Robinson and defensive end Jermaine Johnson, neither are on the list.

Johnson missed the last three games due to an ankle injury but was expected to return this week. The Jacob Martin trade re-opened a spot for him in the rotation as the Jets will dress 10 defensive linemen.

Robinson was a late addition to the injury report on Thursday with a knee injury. The Jets saw him as a game-time decision, and after a series of workouts before the game, the team determined that he was good to go.

With offensive tackle Conor McDermott elevated from the practice squad, the Jets were forced to make six players inactive. Only one, wide receiver Corey Davis (knee) is due to injury.

The others, quarterback Joe Flacco, running back Zonovan Knight, tight end Jeremy Ruckert, safety Tony Adams, and cornerback Bryce Hall, are all healthy scratches.

The NY Jets have no real surprises on their Week 9 inactives list

Davis is set to miss his second consecutive week with an MCL sprain and the hope is that he will be able to return after the Jets' bye week. Denzel Mims will once again start in his place this week.

Flacco was demoted to QB3 a week ago and is now a healthy scratch for the second week in a row. This figures to be the case every week, barring injury, as Mike White is the new backup quarterback.

Knight had a chance to see his first NFL action this week if Robinson was sidelined, but he'll have to wait for a future opportunity. The same is true for Ruckert who figures to be a healthy scratch every week for now with Kenny Yeboah now on the active roster.

Adams and Hall have both been healthy scratches for the majority of the season so their inclusion on the list is expected. Hall has played in just one game this season (Week 1), but was not moved at the trade deadline despite rumors.
