NY Jets vs. Bills Week 14 Final Injury Report: Michael Carter set to return

The NY Jets have released their final injury report ahead of their Week 14 matchup with the Buffalo Bills, and things are looking up. Running back Michael Carter is the most notable player set to return.

Carter missed last week's game due to an ankle injury but returned to practice on Wednesday. The second-year running back was left off the injury report this week and will return to action in Week 14.

In fact, the Jets have only one player on their final injury report entering this Sunday's game. That player is rookie defensive end Micheal Clemons who missed practice all week with an illness.

The Jets had a flu bug sweep through the locker room this week with the likes of D.J. Reed and George Fant also missing practice time. Clemons is the only one who didn't practice this week, though, and he's officially listed as questionable.

The Bills, on the other hand, have a few more players listed on their final injury report. Buffalo has ruled out fullback Reggie Gilliam and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips after neither practiced this week.

Phillips was injured in the Bills' Thursday night victory over the New England Patriots. His absence is a pretty significant one and will cause the Bills to test their defensive line depth.

Linebacker Matt Milano is listed as questionable with a knee injury after returning to practice in a limited capacity on Friday. Despite some pessimism earlier in the week, he's expected to play barring a setback.

The same is true for left tackle Dion Dawkins who was a full participant during Friday's practice. Dawkins is arguably the Bills' best offensive lineman so his status is an important one.
