The NFL community came together on Monday night to show support for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin following the tragic events that unfolded on Monday Night Football.

Hamlin collapsed following a collision with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter of Monday's game and was taken to the hospital where he is reportedly in critical condition at the time of writing.

Wishes and prayers poured in from the NFL world on social media following the incident including a large number of NY Jets players who sent their best wishes to Hamlin and his family.

The Jets issued a statement of their own on Twitter saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with Damar and the Bills tonight" before retweeting many of their players' well wishes.

Jets players were far from the only ones to express their support for Hamlin on Monday night. The entire sports world has come together in solidarity in honor of Hamlin.

In fact, Hamlin created a toy drive fundraiser back in 2020 with a stated goal of $2,500. Prior to Monday night, Hamlin had raised just shy of $3,000 for his cause, one that he titled "The Chasing M's Foundation."

As of the time of writing, over $3 million has now been raised in the hours following the tragic incident. Over 120,000 people have donated on his official GoFundMe page with NFL players like Christian McCaffrey and Trey Lance among those listed as donors.

Here is a link to Hamlin's official GoFundMe page if you are able to and would like to donate. All proceeds go directly to Hamlin's foundation, per an official statement from GoFundMe.

We at The Jet Press send our best wishes to Damar Hamlin, his family, and the entire Buffalo Bills organization.
