The NY Jets have been tasked with one of the most difficult schedules in the NFL this season. As such, they will square off with their fair share of talented quarterbacks.

But just which quarterbacks present the toughest challenge? Let's take a look at the five best quarterbacks the Jets will face in 2022.

5.  Russell Wilson

After a blockbuster trade this offseason, Russel Wilson ends his nine-year tenure with the Seattle Seahawks and is headed to Denver.

A revamped Broncos squad will be a fierce opposition for New York, especially at Mile High. Wilson is coming off a less impressive year than the incredible 40-touchdown season he put together in 2020.

He's been one of the most consistent QBs in the entire NFL since he was drafted in the third round in 2012. Wilson has never dipped below 20 touchdowns in a season in his superb career to date. This is all behind an offensive line that for the most part has been substandard during his time in Seattle.

However, Wilson is coming off a year in which, for the first time since 2016, he did not throw over 30 touchdowns in a season. It is also the first year in which Wilson had a losing record when starting at QB.

Despite this, Wilson is still a very worthy name on this list. He has posted a passer rating north of 100 for straight years now and will be a seasoned veteran that the Jets' will struggle to disrupt.

Wilson will provide consistent and proven QB play in Denver, something the franchise has lacked since the departure of Peyton Manning, and will look to add calmness and reliability to this Broncos team.

If he can do that, we may see a Broncos team return to having a winning record since 2016.
