Week 12: NY Jets @ Houston Texans

Might the Jets start the season slow? Absolutely, it is certainly realistic as they go against numerous competitive teams to start the year.

It should be noted though that the Jets' schedule may see the team go on a strong mid-season run. One that continues here against the Houston Texans.

Nobody knows if it will be Deshaun Watson, Tyrod Taylor, or even Davis Mills starting. Yet, given the Texans' state of the roster, this team appears primed for a top-three selection in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Week 13: NY Jets vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Well Jets fans, the time has finally come. After numerous attempts to beat the Eagles, the Jets will capture their first-ever regular-season win against Philadelphia.

The Eagles are undergoing a rebuild, and this matchup will only be entertaining because of the improvisation ability of Jalen Hurst and Zach Wilson. Like Houston, Philadelphia might also be heading for a top-three selection in next year’s draft.

Prediction: Win (5-7)

Week 14: NY Jets vs. New Orleans Saints

Listen, the Saints may not have Drew Brees, but they are still one of the best teams in the NFL on paper. Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas are a nightmare duo on offense. Meanwhile, former Jets linebacker Demario Davis leads a dominant defense.

The odds are the Jets will put up a solid fight in this one, something that could not be said had this game taken place in 2020. But it will not be enough to overcome the talent that the Saints employ up and down their roster.

Prediction: Loss (5-8)
